Terms & Conditions
1. The Client
You the client agrees to the following terms and conditions by way of making a booking and confirming by way of paying the individual trip required deposit amount. You confirm that the information as given by yourself at the time of booking is correct and that you will inform David Manning Tours of any incorrect details or changes at the earliest convenience and in any case within 7 days of the initial booking. Any future required amendments or adjustments to the booking need to be confirmed and authorised directly with David Manning Tours. Bookings made via messenger, text or email will be confirmed along with final details sent out via the same link. Bookings made in person will be confirmed and final details sent out via either Messenger, text, email or as a last resort via phone. To confirm a booking on any trip the stated full deposit will be required for each person travelling. No booking or place will be guaranteed without the fully required booking deposit. All deposits are non-refundable.
You the booking client, upon booking agree to ensure all payments or part of, including that of all party members are made by yourself, directly to David Manning Tours Ltd.
2. Payments
You the client accepts the full acknowledgment of cost for the trip or tour for the full booking group at the per person brochure or advertised price or agreed promotional discounted rate. And agree to ensure full payment is made by the advertised balance due date. You the client accepts that payment of the trip deposit is your agreement to uphold the trip or tour payment requirements. Failure to pay the final balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and will occur the loss of any deposits and possible instalments paid. You the booking client, upon booking agree to notify David Manning Tours Ltd of all payments or part of paid.
3. Third parties
You the booking client, upon booking accept full responsibility for being the only person of your group to contact David Manning Tours Ltd, in relation to any booked trip. Contact by third parties or other members of your group will not be accepted or responded to, even if regarding payments. Unless in the case of an emergency.
4. Cancellations by client/ Refunds
Deposits and their values as advertised and sold at on each trip are fully non-refundable due to hotel and venue placement guarantees plus administration and other involved costs. Cancellation of any trip up to 42 clear days prior to departure date is fully refundable, excluding the initial deposit value. Any trip cancelled 41 days or less prior to the departure day and not including the day of departure is non-refundable. All cancellations and notifications of any booking amendments are required solely in writing by direct messenger, text, email or post. Cancellations and amendments will not be accepted via phone, verbal or group posts or chat messages. Any changes including passenger names, pick up points, rooming requirements must be authorised directly with David Manning Tours and will be subject to administration charge.
5. Liabilities
You the client take full responsibility directly for any additional charges extras such as minibar, room service and porterage. You the client take full responsibility to ensure that all members of your group settle any additional hotel accounts and return al room keys at checkout in plenty of time prior to the allocated departure time. You the client take full responsibility for any damage caused at hotels or on group visits for all members of your group. You the client takes full responsibility to ensure all members of your party are at the trip collection points 15 minutes prior to the departure time and on time at all departures whilst on daytrips or tours. David Manning Tours takes no responsibility for customers missing the pickups or departures due to lateness. Or the liability of any costs occurred due to lateness.
6. Medication/disability/dietary
You the client take responsibility to inform David Manning Tours at the time of booking or at the earliest convenience of any medical, mobility or dietary issues that we should be made aware of that may affect the tour, other passengers, staff or situations at hotels and visits. It is the responsibility of each the individual passenger or parent to ensure that they carry sufficient required medication as well as plan for emergencies such as delays or other potential situations.
7. Mobility Scooters, wheelchairs and pushchairs.
We can carry small non road worthy mobility scooters, wheelchairs and pushchairs in the luggage hold a restricted limit, subject to weight and space available. These must be booked along with the initial booking. It is solely you the client’s responsibility to ensure that the carriage of wheelchairs, scooters and pushchairs are booked on at the time of your initial trip booking. David Manning Tour Ltd will not be held responsible for any cost accrued due to insufficient space for carriage of such items.
8. Luggage
On tours of short and long breaks, luggage allowance for the coach luggage hold is restricted to one large case per person. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure luggage of all party members is secure and sufficiently labelled to each individual name along with the return drop off point. Once luggage is loaded it will not be assessable until arrival at the destination. Small hand luggage of one bag per person can be carried on the overhead luggage rack, in addition to a standard handbag.
9. Carriage of illegal items
Anyone found to be carrying illegal or dangerous items such as illegal substances, weapons or hazardous items will be removed from the trip with immediate effect and will be banned from all future travel.
10. Abusive and insulting behaviour
David Manning Tours will not tolerate abusive or insulting behaviour towards its staff, passengers, clients or 3rd party staff at hotels and visits. Abusive and insulting behaviour will result in the individuals being removed with immediate effect and will be banned from all future travel.
11. Smoking
Smoking including vape is prohibited on our coaches,
12. Mobile phones
We request that consideration is given to all other passengers, driver and guides, please keep phones and gadgets on silent when in use on the coach. We ask that all passengers are respectful and remain quiet whilst the driver, Courier or Tour manager are sharing information.
13. Dogs and pets
Dogs and pets are not accepted on any trips. We do allow one maximum registered blind assistance dogs per trip subject to evidence of official registration certificate. A doctor’s letter does not qualify.
14. Children
In general children are allowed to travel on our daytrips and Tours where age appropriate to the trip and visits. Children are not allowed to travel on our Potters resorts tours or on distillery tour visits. Many theatres, visits and hotels also have their own restrictions. It is you the client responsibility to inform us of all passengers under 18 years of age at the time of booking, all with individual ages applying to the date of travel. Toddlers up to three years old can travel on a parent’s lap (Window seat only, not allowed on isle seats) free of charge but must be booked on at the time of the initial booking. Children over three years old must occupy their own seat at charge. We do recommend the use of booster seats.
15. Publicity
Photos from various tours, day trips, publicity and the various David Manning Tours Ltd social media platforms, may be used for future publicity including brochures, social media, open days and other like events. Our policy is to ensure that no photos of the vulnerable, children without consent, or invasion of privacy are used. Permission will be sought prior to any photos being used in future publicity
16. Legal documents
You the client take full responsibility to ensure all members of your group booked have all required valid passports (6 months minimum valid from date of travel), visas or other travel documents required present.
17. Insurance
Holiday insurance is compulsory when traveling on European tours abroad. It is not compulsory on our tours or day trips within the UK. However, we do highly recommend having suitable travel/Holiday insurance in place whilst traveling with us on tours. We do recommend insurance with our partners PJ Hayman Travel Insurance www.pjhayman.com T:023 9241 9050 Please quote MAN2024 when obtaining your travel insurance quote.
David Manning Tours and its staff hold no responsibility for customers health issues, personal emergency’s, accidents, loss of life, injury, loss of luggage, personal belongings, or late arrival. Although where needed we shall try to assist. You the client take full responsibility to ensure suitable travel/Holiday insurance is in place for all members of your group booking and their personal and individual needs.
18. David Manning Tours
Endeavours to uphold itineraries, timings, routes and advertised visits wherever possible. We are not liable for poor traffic or weather conditions or any other delays beyond our control. We are not liable for unnotified changes or actions of hotels, venues or visits. We are not liable for incorrect room allocations caused by hotel staff/ admin error. We will however do our upmost to resolve any issues at hotels, venues and visits as quickly as possible on behalf of you the client where we can without affecting the remaining passengers or itinerary. We are not liable for any delays, changes or costs occurred due to cross channel and offshore ferries or Euro shuttle. We do not own the coaches, we hire the vehicles in, in the case of mechanical failure we are reliant on the vehicle company to solve issues or provide a replacement vehicle asap and as pro their procedures.
19. Cancellation of any trip by David Manning Tours
In the case of a trip being cancelled for reasons beyond our control, we shall endeavour to either/ or reschedule the trip where possible or offer a full refund.
20. Administration Costs
Passenger or group leader name changes, pick up point, seating or room amendments will occur a £10 administration charge once a trip final detail has been publicised.
21. Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in any of our trips. These are not compulsory, if you would like to leave an appreciation by way of gratuity the recommended rate is £1.50 per day per member of staff.
You the client agrees to the afore terms and conditions by way of making and confirming a booking. Confirmation all of bookings is by receipt of full value deposit payment.
