Testimonials
From our first day trip to Barnsdale Gardens & Rutland Belle cruise with David Manning Tours, we have been a lot more trips going from day trips to longer ones of up to 6 days, no matter the length of trip, the welcome and care you receive from both Julie who is the perfect hostess and Dave who’s an exceptional driver is 1st class. When booking they make sure all your needs are met, plus they are very accommodating to any disabled travellers. All trips are great value for money with the added bonus of been able to spread the cost by paying by instalments. We are looking forward to many more trips with Julie and Dave in the future.

When my husband had a third heart attack he had to surrender his driving license and we thought our holidays were all over. Then we heard of Dave Manning Tours and very skeptical told Dave honestly about the help Jim would need. Dave took it all in his stride and suggested we try a day trip to see how we managed.
The choice of outings advertised was varied and looked exciting. It was so heartwarming to see how Dave and Julie helped us whilst allowing Jim to keep what little ability he had. Dave folded up the mobility scooter and Julie made sure we got to our allotted seats putting hand luggage on rack safely. Every stop the same routine was adhered to. With this excellent service available we have now got four holidays and two more day trips booked for this year. If you are having difficulties with some part of your mobility I can well recommend Dave Manning Coach Tours. You will keep your dignity, join in with all the fully able passengers, and enjoy fabulous days out with the knowledge that
Dave and Julie are there when required.
When I started going with Dave manning tours, was really nervous about going a the coach being on my own, I spoke about my physical health because with it being a spinal condition with a couple of complications. But Julie was very understanding and lovely towards me. I ask if I could take my folding power chair and was really surprised they said no problem which was lovely because it made me feel independent and an valued individual and normal person, for the first time for a long time I found accepted as a person, I went on a lovely weekend to Blackpool and made and met some special people. And to hear about there lovely charity the raise as much money for is truly inspiring to hear, I loved every moment I had, they had two mascot cows on the coach so I thought, I would buy a baby calf to bring as a family, I having some lovely giggles on the coach and off the coach, it so nice to allow myself to be me, that’s how special Julie and Dave are it’s not just about going out on trips or holidays it’s how you made to feel a whole individual and not a disablement to any one, you feel valued and worthy to enjoy your time with such lovely special people when you’re on these coach tours you feel you are one big family you always wanted.
Hence I love Dave Manning tours.
Ever since I lost my beautiful daughter in 2023 we’ve had a
complete change to our lives. We’ve gone from being parents and carer’s to having a life where we can do whatever we want. I found out about David Manning tours from a couple of friends who had travelled with him . They told me about going to York Christmas market and the coach breaking down but they couldn’t praise Dave and Julie enough about how they were looked after. Did that put me off no of course it didn’t. I found Dave's Facebook page and looked for a trip to go on. Our first trip was the Coronation Street and Emmerdale tour and I have to say I’ve never looked back. I continued to book trips with Dave and we did quite a few last year and we’ve got quite a lot booked for this year. I’ve even started booking trips for 2026. Sometimes I go with my husband or my Son and I’ve even been with friends. I have to say that I really love the Hostess service that we get from Julie and Dave makes the trips really enjoyable because he’s so full of knowledge about all the different places that we see and visit on our trips. We’ve had some laughs along the way. The best one was when we went to Scotland for Burns night. Dave always sends our allocated seat numbers, anyway to cut a long story short we got on the coach and there was a couple sat in our seats. Me being me made a joke out of it and said not to worry it looks like I will be sitting on your knee all the way to Scotland. Anyway I sat opposite the couple and by the time we got to Scotland we were the best of friends. I honestly can’t thank Dave and Julie enough not only for the fact that we see Shaun and Debbie quite a bit and not only that we’ve made some lovely friends throughout our David Manning Tours Journey. I also love how Dave and Julie do the raffle for their nominated charity Don’t lose hope. I love supporting them. I would like to say that we’re just like one big Happy family.
Thank you so much for making our lives easier since we lost our beautiful daughter. xx
