Three nights half board at 4-star hotel Hotel De Witte Raaf with dinner and breakfast included. Located in a beautiful country setting overlooking the colourful bulb fields. All visits including the world famous Keukenhof gardens, plus cheese and clog makers.

Day 1.
We pick up our passenger’s early morning and head to our breakfast stop before making our way to Folkestone, where we join our crossing via the shuttle to Calais. We travel through France and Belgium into the Netherlands arriving late afternoon near Noordwijk and the Hotel De Witte Raaf. Where we spend 3 nights here with dinner and breakfast included. Located in a beautiful country setting overlooking the colourful bulb fields and adjacent to the sand dunes.

 

Day 2.
We take a short journey through this unique region with its colourful and picturesque villages, Windmills, canals and waterways as we make our way to the world-famous tulip bulb fields and Keukenhof Park Gardens, with entry included. Here you have the day to explore at will the beautiful, colourful and highly maintained gardens. We leave the gardens late afternoon and return to our hotel. A chance to unwind, enjoy a drink in the hotel gardens or take a walk over the sand dunes to the beech

 

Day 3.
This morning, for our first stop we visit the Clara Maria cheese farm. Here we learn about both the local cheese making process and the artful skill of clog making. With demonstrations and an opportunity to purchase a souvenir or two. 
Following our visit here we head to the popular tourist town of Volendam. An ideal stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants. A former 14th century fishing village on the Markermeer Lake. Today known for its colourful wooden houses, its fishing harbour and seafood vendors. Doolhof town centre with its narrow streets and canals, the women’s famous traditional high pointed bonnet costumes. The Volendam museum which features exhibits on local history, tradition and art. And the Palingsound museum explores the local music scene. We return to our hotel late afternoon.

 

Day 4.
We depart and our hotel as we make our return journey home via the shuttle, with meal and comfort stops enroute. Returning to Lincoln late evening.

 

A full valid passport (with a minimum of six months validation left) is required for this tour. 

Travel insurance is compulsory on this tour. We recommend purchase of this once we confirm that we have enough passengers to ensure the tour runs.
