Following our pickups we head to the Trentham gardens with comfort stop enroute. These contemporary gardens have matured into some of the finest in Britain. Built on the Trentham horticultural legacy. The imaginative and innovative revival of the famous Italian Gardens led by renowned designer and multi-Chelsea gold-medal winner Tom-Smith. And Dutch plantsman and Chelsea gold-medal winner, Piet Oudolf. The gardens have received many accolades including the Enjoy Staffordshire Tourism gold award, Countryfile Garden of the year, Horticulture Week Custodian Awards and a gold Accolade by visit England.

Sir Charles Barry’s 19th century original Italianate Gardens. Capability Brown designed Trentham Lake, alive with colourand a wonderful array of wildlife. Ancient wildflower meadows and woodlands, cascading weir and nature trails, Eurasian beavers, Lakeside Walk, sunny meadows, woodland meadows, rivers of grass and floral Labyrinth and of course the garden Fairies. A most wonderful garden to enjoy for everyone, with approximately 4-5 hours on site to enjoy. You will also be spoilt for choice of refreshment from enjoying home-made and locally sourced food in the Italian Garden Tearoom, a snack from the Tearoom Kiosk Café or the Lakeside café. Afternoon Teas also available. Or maybe bring a picnic. 

Trentham Garden Centre also offers several refreshment options with The Six Arches restaurant, and Café Bello. Along with a huge selection of products and plants for the home and garden.

Following our full day of gardens, shopping and eating, we make our way back to Lincoln with our drop offs enroute.
