Following our pickups we head directly to Castle Howard. Which has been home to the Howard family for more than 300 years. Explore iconic architecture and beautiful interiors when you visit the House, including the Great Hall which rises 70 feet in the air. View the project of current transforming the House interiors, including restoring the lost Tapestry Drawing Room. A self-guiding tour of the house with friendly and knowledgeable guides on hand to share stories as you tour at your own pace, exploring a treasure trove of inspiring architecture and interiors, as well as world renowned collections.
The Gardens, with 1,000 acres of parkland to explore, a haven of peace and tranquillity with extensive woodland walks, temples, lakes and fountains. Garden Centre, with ranges of plants, tools, furnishings and accessories specially selected to offer outstanding quality and choice. Reflecting the long traditions associated with the gardens and landscape on the estate. Visit the House Gift Shop, Farm Shop and Garden Centre.
Refuel and overindulge. The fresh, bright and stylish Fitzroy Café serving hot lunches, selection of sandwiches, cakes, freshly baked scones, Hot and cold drinks.
Boathouse Café, on the bank of the Great Lake, serves ice cream, hot drinks, cakes, snacks and sandwiches, Estate reared Beef Burgers, stone baked pizzas and Skelf Sundaes.

Wheelchairs users (under 225kg) can use the house stair lift which takes visitors to the main floor of the house and majority of the rooms. Electric wheelchair and Scooters are not permitted within the house. Manual wheelchairs can be borrowed if required on site.
Following our visit, we make our way back to Lincoln with our drop offs enroute.
