Minimum 5 hours in York. Arriving late morning, you have free time to shop, browse, explore and enjoy the delights of the Christmas market and stalls. Enjoy the mulled wine or hot chocolate. Maybe a crepe or waffle, try the various food samples on the market or enjoy one of the many eateries throughout the city.

We make our various pick-ups and depart Lincoln early morning. We head straight to the City of York formerly known as Eboracum by the Romans and Jorvik by the Vikings. Arriving late morning, you have free time to shop, browse, explore and enjoy the delights of the Christmas market and stalls. Enjoy the mulled wine or hot chocolate. Maybe a crepe or waffle, try the various food samples on the market or enjoy one of the many eateries throughout the city. Looking for a few Christmas gifts or decorations, the York Christmas market and the nearby York city market is the place along with the many shops around the city, the Shambles and the market areas. You can also explore the city and its other many attractions including the national railway museum (free) walk the city walls (free) Clifford’s tower (English Heritage) The York Castle Museum, Jorvik Centre, River Cruise, York’s Chocolate Story, The Minster or a city sightseeing bus tour. We depart York at 5pm and make our return arriving back in Lincoln early evening for our various drop off’s.

This trip is suitable for all ages, singles, groups and families.
