Newark & Nottingham Riverside Lunch Cruise

Following our convenient local pick-ups, we make our way to the historic waterfront town of Newark-on-Trent. Enjoy time to explore the atmospheric marketplace, surrounded by impressive historic buildings, and admire the magnificent St Mary Magdalene Church, whose soaring spire is the tallest church building in Nottinghamshire. You can also discover the fascinating remains of Newark Castle, originally built by Saxon King Edward the Elder.

We then continue towards Nottingham, where our relaxing afternoon cruise awaits. Step aboard for a leisurely three-hour sailing, taking in picturesque views of the historic city and surrounding countryside. Sit back and enjoy the ever-changing scenery while informative live commentary brings the history and landmarks along the route to life. A cruise companion map is also provided, allowing you to follow the journey and discover the many points of interest along the way.

Adding to the occasion is a delicious two-course lunch served during the cruise, with a choice of traditional roast pork loin, roast chicken breast or a vegetarian option, followed by tempting Black Forest Gateau with tea or coffee. An on-board bar is also available, making this a truly relaxing way to spend an afternoon.
