Following our morning pick-ups, we travel directly to Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park, an award-winning attraction combining a wildlife park, rare breeds farm, shops and places to eat.

There’s plenty to discover, with more than 100 species and breeds to see. From traditional pigs and other farmyard favourites to lions, tigers, crocodiles and magnificent polar bears, there’s something around every corner. The park is also home to Europe’s largest polar bear reserve and is an important centre for the conservation of British rare breeds.

During your visit, enjoy the daily animal talks and activities included with admission, with opportunities to learn more about the animals and, in selected areas, even hand-feed some of the residents.

For younger visitors, there’s plenty of fun too, including adventure playgrounds, bouncing pillows and woodland adventures, making this an excellent day out for the whole family.

When it’s time for a break, treat yourself to anything from coffee and cake to brunch or lunch. The beautifully restored 200-year-old barn provides a wonderfully rustic setting for the restaurant and coffee shop. Before leaving, there’s also time to browse the farm shop.
