Day 1. Monday
We pick up our passenger’s early morning and head south through the various counties, with comfort stops enroute. Arriving Saunders Garden centre early afternoon. Here you can shop the garden centre and various outlets or indulge into a visit to the café area for tea & cake or some late lunch. We arrive at the Trethorne hotel Launceston late afternoon. Where we spend five nights with full English breakfast and 3 course evening dinner included.

Day 2. Tuesday 
First visit today is Padstow a picturesque harbour and fishing port, with a lively atmosphere. renowned for its seafood and famed by Rick Stein. On to the furthest point south, Lands’ End. The legendary Cornish destination that has inspired people since ancient Greek times. With its natural beauty and breath-taking views. We take a lunch stop here allowing for refreshment and enjoyment of this iconic site.  We follow the coastline to Marazion for a short stop. From here you can take in a view of St Michaels Mount. We return to our hotel. Dinner included

 

Day 3. Wednesday
After breakfast we head to the Eden Project, a global garden where wild landscapes are juxtaposed with Europe’s largest collection of useful plants. Experience the sights and scents of the Mediterranean Biome, where your find beautiful flower displays and seasonal crops. Immerse in the steamy heat of the Rainforest Biome. We then visit the nearby harbour town of Charlestown. The last 18th- Century harbour in the UK and a UNESCO World Heritage site. With its classic tall ships and breath – taking views. We return to hotel. Dinner included.

 

Day 4. Thursday
After breakfast we make our way to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. One of the most mysterious estates in England. Lost to the brambles of time since the outbreak of WW1, this sleeping beauty was re-awakened in 1990 to become Europe’s largest garden restoration project. Today Heligan’s 200 acres are a paradise. We finish our day in the village of Mevagissey With its narrow streets and postcard style pubs and shops cluster around the harbour walls. We return to the hotel. Dinner included.

 

Day 5. Friday
After breakfast Full day optional.
Includes a morning visit to Cornwall’s quaint coastal village and sheltered harbour of Boscastle.  Tintagel, follow in the footsteps of the many myths and Legends of King Arthur, knights of the round table and Merlin as we take a walk over the famous bridge to the Island and castle. Our last visit of the day is to Port Isaac, home of Doc Martin and Fishermans Friend Return to hotel, Dinner included.

 

Day 6. Saturday
After Breakfast we check out and make our return to Lincolnshire with comfort stops enroute.

 

Optional Day 5 £25pp (Discount for valid E.H. members). Includes visits and entries to Boscastle, Tintagel & Port Isaac.

 

Optional evening pub tour £5 We visit the famous Jamacia Inn, Cornwall’s most famous smuggling inn, as famed in Daphne du Maurier best-selling novel.
