Day 1.
Following our pick ups we take a lunchtime comfort stop at Roxton Garden centre. With an opportunity to use the restaurant facilities, (Wednesday is carvery day) as well as explore the garden centre itself. Following our lunch stop we head directly to London and arrive the Tower hotel for a mid-afternoon check-in.
The hotel is in prime position on the river Thames adjacent to Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and the St Katharine’s dock area. Time to settle in, freshen up and get the glitz and sparkles on. We depart early evening and arrive the Abba Voyage arena in plenty of time to purchase food and explore the merchandise shop prior to the show. We return to the hotel directly after the show.
Day 2.
A leisurely breakfast and free morning to enjoy the local area around the Tower of London and its riverside setting as well as the city itself. With plenty of choice, weather a river cruise, walk to St Pauls cathedral, a sightseeing bus tour, the Tower bridge experience or a visit to HMS Belfast docked across the river, the choice is yours. Plenty of eatery choices located in the adjoining St Katharine Dock and surrounding areas.
We depart the hotel early afternoon and begin our journey back to Lincoln via a drive along the river and through the city of Westminster. With a service area teatime comfort stop enroute.
