Day 1. Monday
We pick up our passenger’s early morning and head to our mid-morning stop for refreshment before making our way to the port of Portsmouth. Where we join our ferry for our crossing over the Solent to the Isle of Wight. We then make the short journey to Shanklin, arriving at the 3-star Channel View hotel late afternoon. We spend the next four nights here with dinner and breakfast included. And some hotel entertainment. Please note evening entertainment is not guaranteed and is subject to the hotel management.

Day 2. Tuesday
After our hearty breakfast our local guide Jane Joins us aboard the coach as we set off on a full day excursion exploring the wonders of the island. Sights, views, villages, towns, attractions as well as learning about life on the Island along with its culture and history.  A lunch stop will be made within the tour.

Day 3. Wednesday
After breakfast we head off on our first optional trip, to Osborne House. Located in the East Cowes area. We visit the former royal residence which was built for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a summer home and rural retreat. The house was designed by Albert himself, in the style of an Italian Renaissance palazzo.

Day 4. Thursday
A free morning to enjoy the local area.
Our second optional excursion is this afternoon, to the Isle of Wight steam railway. A beautifully preserved heritage railway which passes through over five miles of enjoyable countryside scenery. Here we enjoy a short history of the railway and a return journey on the train. 

Day 5. Friday
After breakfast we depart our hotel and the island as we make our return journey home to Lincolnshire with comfort stop enroute.
