Two nights half board accommodation, 4-star hotel, 1920’s style murder mystery themed evening dinner

Day 1.
We pick up our passenger’s late morning and head to our enroute Lunch stop at the Markham Grange garden centre, before making our way to the Yorkshire heritage fashionable spa resort town of Harrogate. Arriving late afternoon at the 4-star Old Swan hotel. We spend two nights at this majestic hotel for our murder mystery themed weekend, with dinner and breakfast included.

The Old Swan is just a short walk from the centre of town. Full of Victorian splendour with elegant contemporary style, it is one of the most famous hotels in Harrogate thanks to its romantic past. Once a popular spa, it was the hideaway haven for crime queen, Agatha Christie, when she famously disappeared here in 1926.

The hotel is packed with stunning period features, including revolving doors and polished wooden floors. Cosy up in front of the fire in the lobby, elegant reception rooms, including the magnificent Wedgewood restaurant, with its original glass ceiling, or the Swan lounge & Bar, where you can relax with a drink overlooking the lawns and views of the town centre.

Day 2.
We enjoy the start of the day with a good full English breakfast and all the trimmings. The day is then free time to for you to explore the town and local area or relax, unwind and take advantage of the hotel facilities and gardens.

Tonight is murder mystery night. With an atmospheric and hilarious murder mystery dinner. Who will be murdered? Who be suspect and villain? Who will be innocent and shocked? Time to test your skills and work out who is the murderer. The Old Swan is famous for its Murder Mystery evenings.

Day 3.
Following a hearty breakfast, we head to the heart of the town with a few hours free time to explore the history and romance of the town, its elegant shops, array of eateries and tea shops, including the famous Bettys Café Tea Rooms (advisable to pre book).

We depart mid afternoon and return to Lincoln early evening.
