Day 1.
We start passenger pick-ups mid-morning and head to our lunchtime comfort stop at Roxton Garden centre, where you have an opportunity to use the restaurant as well as explore the shop and maybe make a purchase, we then make our way to London with a guided tour of the capital enroute and throughout our visit. We arrive the Tower Hotel mid-afternoon, with time to check in and refresh. We depart the hotel late afternoon and make our way to the Adelphi theatre located on the Strand. Prior to the show you will have free time in the surrounding areas of the Strand and Covent Gardens to take evening dinner. Theatre seats are rows D-F in the dress circle.
Billy Elliot the musical, set in a northern town during the miner’s strike of 1984/5, the show follows Billy’s journey from the boxing ring to the ballet class, where he discovers a passion for dance that will change his life forever. Following the show, we transfer on the coach directly back to the hotel. For those wishing to enjoy the later London nightlife following the show, are welcome to make their own way back to the hotel via public transport. The Tower hotel is located adjacent to the Tower of London, the river Thames and St Catherines Dock, with a well-served bus and tube service. The local area is also home to many nearby restaurants, bars and a Tesco express.
Day 2.
After a good hearty relaxing breakfast of multiple choice, enjoy free time to explore on foot the nearby city area of London with its many attractions and several markets. Or further afield by local transport, including the docklands light railway, river boat, bus, tube or one of the famous London black cabs.
Early afternoon we depart London and begin our return to Lincoln, with an afternoon comfort stop enroute.
This theatre short break is suitable for all single, couples, families, groups and children above 12 years old. All are welcome on this amazing tour as we enjoy this wonderful and the unforgettable show
The Adelphi Theatre seating is allocated in either the stalls or Dress circle areas. Stall area seating is easily accessible and step free.
