This three-day Shropshire tour features a scenic Shrewsbury river cruise and a relaxing stay at the 4-star Telford Spa Hotel. Guests will explore Blist Hill Victorian Town’s living museum and visit the historic Iron Bridge alongside Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron. The accessible trip includes both daily breakfast and hotel dinners.
Day 1.
Following our pick-ups we head to Shrewsbury, the Historic County town of Shropshire. Famed for its picturesque medieval street layout. And birthplace of Charles Darwin. We enjoy some free time here for lunch and take a river cruise along the River Severn as we take in the stunning views. We arrive the 4-star Telford Spa hotel late afternoon. Hotel dinner included.
Day 2.
After a hearty English breakfast, we spend the day at the Blist Hill Victorian town. An open-air, living museum, that recreates life in the year 1900. Now managed by the National Trust. Step back in time to explore the Immersive Town Street, with its Victorian shops, cottages, and industrial sites populated by costumed townsfolk, and can even exchange modern money for authentic Victorian currency. Wander through the fully functioning town featuring a traditional sweet shop, chemist, bakery, and printers. Discover the Industrial Heritage with authentic blast furnaces, a steam-operated pithead, and remnants of the East Shropshire Coalfields mining history. Enjoy traditional pub sing-alongs, ride a Victorian fairground, and certainly grab a bite at the popular fish and chip shop.

Day 3.
Today we take in a view of the famous 1779 Iron Bridge. This beautiful monument stands as one of the greatest symbols of where the industrial Revolution started. We visit the Coalbrooke Museum of Iron. Where we find out how iron changed the course of the world. See stunning exhibits, exquisite art castings and functional cookware all made from iron. We depart mid-afternoon and return to Lincolnshire with comfort stop enroute.
This trip is suitable for single travellers, couples, groups, families and for those with limited mobility abilities. The hotel has a lift to all floors.

Mobility access Blist Hill covers a large area with various terrain, most areas are accessible however be advised that some areas include slopes and cobbles. Coalbrooke Museum of Iron is generally level access with some step areas towards the viaduct, Darby & Rosehill houses and uneven terrain to the Furnace. The carriage of mobility scooters, wheelchairs and walkers are limited and must be booked on at the time of initial booking.
